A journalist by training, Sharon Almirall credits her love of the profession with the opportunity to meet a myriad of people with fascinating stories to tell. Internet dating is no different, she says, as it is a chance to get to know someone and what makes that person tick. “Writing about people’s lives gives me the ticket to exploration in fields I never would have gone without the newspaper or magazine assignment and having press credentials gives me the perfect reason to be snoopy, to be quizzical, and to satisfy my inordinate curiosity. Internet dating is quite similar!” |
